Meet The FOUNDER / Lead MUA
Hi Beautiful — I’m Monique Smith, Founder of GOAL Model Makeover and the GOAL Model School of Makeup.
For over 14 years, I’ve had the privilege of helping women transform not just their faces — but how they see themselves. As a professional, celebrity, and published makeup artist based in St. Louis, I’ve learned that the most powerful makeover doesn’t start with a brush… it starts with belief.
At GOAL Model, we don’t just do makeup — we create masterpieces in motion. We specialize in helping women rediscover their confidence, amplify their beauty, and step fully into who God created them to be.
I’m also fiercely passionate about teaching and mentoring aspiring beauty professionals. Through my GOAL Model School of Makeup, I equip new artists with the skills, mindset, and business tools to turn their talent into a thriving career — because beauty is an industry, but it’s also a ministry.
My mission is simple yet powerful:

What services do you provide?GOAL Model Beauty & Style Studio offers soft glam makeup application services, bridal glam, brow tint & wax, makeup classes, 8 week makeup artist certification program for aspiring makeup artists, makeup showcases for new MUAs, makeup and skincare products, and beauty workshops for girls. We also collaborated with Thrifty Fashions LLC to provide personal styling, closets audits, and a one of a kind boutique for sizes small to 3x.

How do I book a makeup appointment?You can book online under the Services tab, call (314) 325- 2721, DM "GLAM" for makeup or "Train" for the next Makeup Certification Training on Instagram, or come in to see us at 9319 Midland Blvd, Suite B, Overland, MO , 63114.

Do you offer Bridal makeup services?Yes! We specialize in soft, long-lasting bridal glam. Bridal packages include trials, touch-ups, and personalized glam to match your wedding style. Check the Services tab to view our Bridal packages and services. We also allow our studio to be booked as your get ready location for your wedding day, just call for details (314) 325-2721.

What is your cancellation policy?Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee. No-shows will forfeit their payment. Canceled appointments can be rescheduled for a later date that is within in 30 days as long as the date is available.

Do you offer group bookings or events?Yes, we provide glam services for bridal parties, photoshoots, girls' events, and corporate experiences. Contact us to customize your group service (314) 325-2721.

Can I bring someone with me to my appointment?Due to limited space, only clients receiving services are allowed in the studio unless otherwise discussed.

How long does a full glam appointment take?Appointments typically take 45–90 minutes depending on the service.

Do you sell your own skincare or beauty products?Yes! Our signature lip gloss line is vegan, and cruelty free. You can purchase our lip glosses and other beauty products online under the Makeup tab. Our signature skincare line “Smoothie Skin” made with natural, nourishing ingredients like mango butter, aloe vera, and vitamin E will be launching this winter. Join our email list so you can be one of the first people to experience the Smoothie Skincare line.

Are your products safe for sensitive skin?Absolutely. We use clean, non-toxic ingredients that are gentle, hydrating, and designed for all skin types—including sensitive and acne-prone.

What is the GOAL Model MUA Certification Program?It’s an 7-8-week empowering, skill-focused training experience that certifies aspiring makeup artists in both technique and business fundamentals.

What’s included in the certification program?You’ll learn sanitation, skin prep, pro techniques (natural glam, bridal, cut crease, etc.), business strategies, pricing, and social media marketing. You’ll also get a professional makeup kit, workbook, Zoom check-ins, your business LLC registered with the state of Missouri and certification upon completion.

How do I apply for the next MUA class?DM “TRAIN” on Instagram, call (314) 325-2721, visit our School Of Makeup page or Services page to view upcoming enrollment dates and pay your registration fee.

How far in advance should I book my appointment?We recommend booking at least 1–2 weeks in advance for regular glam and 1–3 months ahead for bridal or large events. However you can book as late as 2 days in advance. You can call (314) 325-2721 for walk in hours. We have walk in appointments available everyday except Sunday.
